Photo Essay: The Social Studies Hallway Decorates for Halloween

By Tirzah Johnson ‘25

The Social Studies hallway put up a pumpkin snowman topped by a ghost in a witch hat holding a pumpkin. It was put up next to Mr. Buch’s room. Hanging up on the wall is a poster of a graveyard with a witch, some pumpkins, and a building in the background
The Social Studies teachers put up small pictures of pumpkins, witches, ghosts, skeletons, and a scenery photo with giant pumpkins and a big moon in the sky. They put photos on many of the lockers and on the signs next to each teachers classroom where it says their name and room number.
The Social Studies teachers also put up lights across the hallway. The lights are patterned in a triangular shape, crossing diagonally across the whole hallway.
On the ceiling they also hung up small bats going across the light strips. The bats dangle at different lengths to the light strips. They are hung on half of the Social Studies hallway.
