With the new semester starting, Valley Voice has decided who their new editors will be for the 2026-2027 school year.
Valley Voice has seen great growth in the club this year, with many members showing their interest in joining. All new staff this year had the option to apply for an editor position for the following school year.
The club has many editor positions that help run this club, including: Editor in Chief, section editors (News, Campus Life, Entertainment & Arts, etc.), Secretary, and Treasurer.
These editors are responsible for making decisions inside the club such as what the club spends grant money on, expanding readership, recruiting new members, club events, etc.
At the staff meeting on Tuesday February 3, 2026 staff members voted for who they believed were best for the position.
Isa Bartelt ran for Assistant Editor-in-Chief for this semester, Shamil Issayev ran for Assistant Editor-in-Chief for next year, Harshit Bhatt for Sports Editor for next year, and Jackson Stocker for Editor-in-Chief for next year.
All editors were approved for their positions. We welcome and congratulate the newly elected editors for the Valley Voice!
