Conestoga Valley High School football fall 2025 season ended with an impressive record of 10-1. Head Coach Jon Scepanski is trying to implement strategies for the upcoming season for a better outcome.
The months of December to July are the offseason for Buckskins to improve their speed and agility. According to Scepanski, “Understanding our offense and defensive systems, gaining speed, agility, and strength during our conditioning periods will quickly prepare us for the next season.”
Scapenski enters the new season with the mindset of “furthering our development in our offense and defensive systems.”
Coming to the development of the team for the new season, juniors Camryn Bair and Anthony Rodriguez plan to gain more confidence for the next season. Bair stated, “Physically, be able to endure the whole season without any setbacks. Mentally, I wanna be at a stage where I am confident to play anybody.”
Rodriquez said, “I want to grow mentally by understanding the game better and becoming a stronger leader for my team.”

When asked who the key players are for the upcoming season, junior Jonathon Serrano said, “We’ve got Cam Bair, one of the best corners in the league, Jayden Conaway just a great athlete, Anthony Rodriguez returning safety after leading the league in interceptions.” Anthony Rogriguez and Cam Bair agreed that experienced returning players will also play a major role in the team’s success in the upcoming season.
As the season approaches, the most important matchup will be Exeter. “I think the whole team is ready to send them home in the playoffs so that will be a great achievement once we beat them in the playoffs,” Rodriguez said.
“They have sent us home in the playoffs two years in a row so this year we’re hoping to to turn things around and send them home this year,” Rodriguez explained.
When asked about any coaching staff changes, Rodriguez responded, “Can’t really talk about the coaching staff according to Schap. We’re just trying to figure out who all is going to be here next year so I don’t really know too many details about that.”
Overall, CV Football is entering the 2026-2027 fall season with confidence, experience, and motivation. With strong returns of players, intense offseason training, and a clear mindset of turning things around against their biggest rival Exeter, the Buckskins are determined to continue the excellence of last year’s 10-1 record and make a deeper playoff run this fall.
