Three Conestoga Valley High School students in Lancaster, Pennsylvania: seniors Alyssa Landis and Isabelle Gehr, and Junior Justin Ashby, each have styles of their own when it comes to their perfect fits for this year’s prom.
Landis describes the color of her dress as a deep dark red, leaning towards maroon or burgundy. The style of her dress is simple yet elegant. The upper part of the dress is corseted, with a loose and flowy skirt made out of a smooth material. For accessories, she is planning on wearing a silver pearl necklace with matching silver pearl earrings.
Landis is attending with her boyfriend, Mason Denlinger, and a large group of friends. She plans on matching with Denlinger by having him wear a red tie that corresponds to the color of her dress. Her friends are all planning on wearing dresses similar in style to hers.
Gehr’s dress is a bright dark red, making it appear fiery. The style of her dress is modern and graceful. The upper part of the dress is corseted, with a loose and flowy skirt that has a slit. For accessories, she is planning on wearing a silver or gold necklace.
Gehr is attending with her friends and her sister. She shares the same interest in the color red as her sister, though the dress style is very different. Her friends are wearing colors and styles of their own.
Ashby’s suit is black, with a bright red pocket square. Underneath he will be wearing a white dress shirt and a bright red tie. The style of his suit is classy and sleek, giving him the movement and charm that he needs. For accessories, he is planning on wearing a boutonniere with red and white flowers and hints of greenery.
Ashby is attending with his girlfriend and hoping to see some friends attend. He is matching with his girlfriend by corresponding his tie and pocket square color to her dress, along with wearing a matching boutonniere to his girlfriend’s corsage or bouquet. If he has any friends who attend, they will not be matching but wearing a style of their own.
