Christian Teleguz really enjoyed his childhood and he wishes he still was a little kid, but life doesn’t work like that. Eventually he’ll need to grow up into an adult. He has amazing memories even though some were when he got in trouble, but he liked his childhood. But now he is 15 years old, and is in 8th grade.

According to him, his childhood was great, and he did pretty well in school. He became an A+ student, which made him have the highest grade out of every student.

“From first grade to fifth elementary school, we had plenty of time to be outside,” said Teleguz. “Like most chances we get, we’re outside so feel like we did have recess in middle school. It started to get less outdoor time because there’s, like, more packed work and stuff, since we’re older or responsible.”

Teleguz was very determined about getting an education and he made sure to do good in school even though it was hard.

When he was in school he had some favorite teachers and some that he hated.

“Well for seventh grade, we had the teacher left for maternity leave, which was like half the year she left,” said Teleguz. “I hated that teacher. A teacher I like would probably be my eighth grade [teacher], because her class is fun. You do a lot of activities that don’t involve a lot of work, which I don’t [like]. I’m not a big person of work and papers and all that stuff.

He also had some favorite sports that he played when he was younger, and he still plays them to this day. Some competitors stand out to him.

“For wrestling definitely, Garden Spot,” said Teleguz. “They were really physical and wrestling hard. But they were like, sometimes they would cheat and pull your gear down, and they would just try any way to win. For soccer, it’s got to be either Solanco or Manheim Township because as I said before, they’re pretty physical.”

Teleguz enjoys playing these sports, but they are a bit intense and where he could hurt himself, which he did by breaking his arm during wrestling season.

“Yes, I enjoyed them both, but I stopped wrestling because I broke my arm from wrestling, and I couldn’t continue, so I decided to try a different sport,” said Teleguz. “So that’s how I started playing soccer.”

He still tried to play along and wrestle through the pain. But he gave out because it was hard to beat the other teammate with an injured arm. He was playing Garden Spot and they are one of the hardest teams to beat.

“Well, as I said, my level team Garden Spot I was going against at the very beginning,” said Teleguz. “When we shook hands, he pulled my arm, like, really hard, and I just, like, couldn’t even lift it halfway up, and I just let him pin me.”

Teleguz’s favorite season is summer. During this time when he was younger, he really loved sleeping in and going to many vacations whenever his family was free.He is trying to enjoy every bit of this moment.

“For me I think I would have to go with summer, because first of all, there’s like no school, and you get to sleep in every single day,” said Teleguz. “Also, a big part of summer would be waking up knowing that it’s nice out and you can go play outside with your friends and by yourself. And there’s numerous activities you could do anywhere from playing a sport to walking around the block to reading outside.”

When he was younger he had some favorite movies, but one of his favorites was Frozen. Teleguz thought that some characters looked attractive, like Elsa.

“Maybe I thought back then I thought Elsa was kind of cute,” said Teleguz.

He also really thought Olaf from Frozen was a cutie.

“Oh, yeah, Olaf is definitely one of them and he is a cutie patootie,” said Teleguz.

Teleguz had another second favorite kids movie which was The Lion King. This movie was very good, and he loved animals. But he had some silly thoughts, and thought about what he would’ve done if he was in the movie himself.

“If I were to change one thing about it, if I was the one holding Simba at the edge of the cliff, I would probably just like to throw him off instinctively,” said Teleguz.

Teleguz doesn’t regret anything, and now all he wishes is to have amazing memories of his past and never forgetting about it. He has had an amazing life when he was younger, but he can’t stay little anymore.
