Shamil Issayev is a sophomore at CVHS, and this is his first year in the Valley Voice. He is involved in many other extracurricular activities, such as Wrestling (4 years), Model UN (2 years), Math Honor Society (2 years), Science Olympiad (2 years), Technology Student Association (1 year), and many more. His favorite academic subjects are science (Biochemistry and Relative-Molecular Physics), World History, and Mathematics (Logic and Theorems), but he also loves to write essays! He was born in Turkey, near the Mediterranean Sea and grew up in Kazakhstan before moving to the U.S. in 2019. His interest in the Valley Voice comes from his desire to improve his writing skills, to add up to his vocabulary, to spread his opinion, and ultimately, to have fun!
