“Dahmer— Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story”: This dramatized series shows the grief and terror of the family and the victims. It also shows the story and the reasons Dhamer committed these crimes. It’s one of the best shows because it’s about a person who did unimaginable things to men and boys around him. You get to see the inside of a psychotic person as best as you can in a show.
“Criminal Minds”: In need of a new show to look forward to? To obsess over? Then you seriously need to watch “Criminal Minds.” It is way better than your average crime show because it follows a super intelligent FBI team that uses psychology to catch the most dangerous of serial killers. It is terrifying to see how these criminals think, but watching the profilers piece together the clues is so satisfying. My absolute favorite part is the characters, especially Reid and Morgan, because their banter is amazing and they feel like a real family. Some episodes are creepy enough to keep you up at night, but the insane plot twists will have you glued to your screen for hours.
“You”: If you’re looking for a show to lose yourself in this summer, “You” is the choice for you. It’s a very popular psychological thriller on Netflix. What makes the show stand out is its clever use of a first-person internal monologue. As the viewer, you are forced to experience Joe’s twisted justifications firsthand, which creates a unique psychological thriller experience. It’s the perfect show for the summer because its fast-paced plot and constant cliffhangers make it easy to binge-watch on a rainy day. This show will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last episode.
